Establishment:

The Inspection Technical Center of Zhuhai Entry-Exit Inspection & Quarantine Bureau (ZHTC) that was approved by General administration of quality supervision, inspection and quarantine (AQSIQ), was established in October 1999.

Qualification:

• One of the first certification bodies by China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS)
• Authorized laboratory by China Quality Certification Center (CQC)
• Authorized institution by China Metrology Accreditation (CMA)
• Cooperation agency for market spot-checks with Guangdong regional Administration for Industry & Commerce
• Authorized institution by Underwriters Laboratories
• Authorized institution by The Hong Kong Security Institute Limited (HKSI)

Business:

• Inspections and of entry-exit animal and related products, plants and related products;
• Physic-chemical analysis, pesticide residue detecting, veterinary drug residue detecting, toxicological detecting and sensory evaluation of food, cosmetics, health product;
• Physic-chemical analysis of electronic product, shoes, toys, textiles, chemicals, minerals, metal material, packaging product;
• Inspection and identification committed by the trader;
• Consultation, conducting research, providing and supervising training of applied techniques;
• Formulation and amendment of standard methods.

Quality System:

The Inspection Technical Center has established its quality control system by fulfilling ISO/IEC 17025; and the laboratories of ZHTC have been accredited by China National Accreditation committee with the certification No.: L0008.

More than 6000 items are listed in our service lines, which the values from all testings are traceable to national references while the applied standard materials, biological reagents and biological reference materials are from the national standard/recognized authorities. To sustain the competence for inspections, our technicians join the domestic and international proficiency tests and have compliant results.
